The studio where we were shooting Vogue was located in the Wynwood art district of Miami. As soon as my friend Nicole and I had some free time, we walked around exploring the area. It was mind blowing! Some of the most impressive graffiti pieces I've seen in years. I was taken back to my childhood, growing up in Brooklyn during the 90's where graffiti was an outstanding form of art, expression and youthful rebellion. In Wynwood there are a few streets where artists are legally allowed to create. If you're ever in Miami check this place out before it becomes commercialized like Brooklyn and the rest of NYC did.
Ps, my personal favorite is the octopus/elephant/hippo man, I couldn't find the artist's signature. Do you know who created it?
