Carolina Dali grew up in Brooklyn, New York fascinated by the world of fashion. While attending the High School of Fashion Industries in New York City, Carolina was asked to design and create the makeup looks for the school’s yearly runway presentation. It was during that first presentation that she realized her individual love for painting, drawing and fashion could co-exist in a career as a professional makeup artist.
Her career began once she moved to Europe where she freelanced for various cosmetic brands such as Dior, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. By the age of 21, she was selected by Dior to serve as their National Makeup Artist.
Since returning to the United States in 2011, Carolina has collaborated with photographers such as Mario Sorrenti, Terry Richardson, Sebastian Faena, Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello, Vanina Sorrenti, Francesco Carrozzini, Pari Dukovic and Kai Z Feng. Her relationships with photographers has led her to work on editorials that have appeared in V magazine, Vogue, Vogue Italia, Teen Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Interview, Dazed & Confused, Purple, The New York Times, GQ, ELLE, Glamour, and on advertising campaigns for Tom Ford, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Intermix, Phillip Lim, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Nike.
Carolina has also worked with numerous celebrities including Gisele Bündchen, Olivia Culpo, Sabrina Carpenter, Charlize Theron, Hailey Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Rita Ora, Kendall Jenner, Lauryn Hill, Liza Minnelli, Chloë Sevigny, Miranda Kerr, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, John Legend, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Alexander Wang, Ethan Hawke and Jared Leto.
